How to Become a Member
Becoming a member of GradChemBio is straightforward and uncomplicated.
PhD students enrolled in the Faculty of Chemistry and Biosciences at KIT are welcome to apply by sending an email to:
Please include your CV, research group, institute, starting and end day of your PhD.
Applications are reviewed by the steering committee of the graduate school.
To remain an active member, PhD students are expected to:
- Attend at least two graduate school retreats during their PhD
- Participate in at least one soft-skills course
There is no limit to the number of soft-skills courses that can be attended. All completed courses are documented and listed on the official GradChemBio certificate, which PhD students receive upon graduation from KIT.
GradChemBio warmly welcomes new members and encourages all eligible PhD students to join the graduate school community.
